1. General Information

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through https://cosmowisdom.com/. It explains the rules, conditions, and procedures relating to returns, cancellations, and refunds for physical goods sold on the Website.

Cosmo Wisdom sells physical products, including but not limited to tarot cards, oracle decks, amulets, crystals, pendulums, magic balls, books, mats, boards, accessories, ritual items, and similar goods.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

2. Right to Cancel Online Orders

If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day you, or a person identified by you, receives the goods. You do not need to provide a reason for cancellation. After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly notify us by email at [email protected] before the cancellation period expires.

3. Effect of Cancellation

If you validly cancel your order within the applicable cancellation period, you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled goods. Where required by law, this will also include the cost of the standard outbound delivery method originally selected, but not any extra amount paid for a premium or upgraded delivery option above the standard service.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed otherwise.

4. Return Deadline After Cancellation

Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your decision to cancel.

5. Condition of Returned Goods

Returned goods must be sent back in an appropriate condition. You may inspect the goods as you would reasonably do in a physical shop, but if the goods show signs of use, damage, handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, or are returned incomplete, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value, where permitted by law. UK guidance allows deductions where returned goods have been used or damaged beyond normal inspection.

To avoid issues, we recommend that returned items be sent back unused, with all original packaging, inserts, and accessories where possible.

6. Return Shipping Costs for Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless we expressly state otherwise, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where the return is based on a change of mind under the cancellation right.

If the return relates to faulty, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed goods, we will review the matter and, where appropriate, provide a suitable remedy in accordance with applicable law.

7. Goods Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns

Your statutory right to cancel may not apply, or may be lost, in certain categories permitted by law. This may include, for example:

• goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
• sealed goods not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
• goods that become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery;
• other goods excluded from cancellation rights under applicable law. UK guidance recognises exceptions such as personalised goods and unsealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons.

If any such exception applies to a product, this will take precedence over general change-of-mind return rights to the extent permitted by law.

8. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Misdescribed Goods

Your legal rights are separate from and in addition to any change-of-mind return right. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied by a trader must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

11. Refund Timing

Refund timing after initiation may also depend on the payment processor, card issuer, or bank.

Any approved refund will therefore be made back through the original payment method used for the order, unless otherwise required by law.

We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, or other third-party financial institutions after the refund has been initiated by us.

13. Non-Returnable Situations

We may refuse a return or reduce the refundable amount where permitted by law if, for example:

This does not affect your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.

14. Lost or Unreceived Returns

Where customers are responsible for arranging the return shipment, they are also responsible for ensuring that the parcel is properly packaged and returned using a reliable service. We recommend retaining postage receipts and tracking details.

We are not responsible for returned parcels lost in transit where the return shipment is organised by the customer, unless otherwise required by law.

We may, at our discretion, allow exchanges in certain cases, but we are not obliged to offer exchanges unless required by law. Where an exchange is approved, additional shipping or handling arrangements may apply.
